“Wandering through the labyrinth of thoughts, a vision sprouts, as small as a seed, waiting to be nurtured and bloom”.

This story is the reflection of a dream that lived in your heart, loved in your head, and occupied the imagination, waiting to be unlocked - a story every girl could relate to.

Once upon a time, a young girl had hopes and dreams, fresh and exciting. Her love for music and art was bright and contagious. She would spend hours in her father's car and listen to music, hum on the tune, and sing along to the lyrics. She felt content in her haven. Little did she know that her love for music and art will always be compromised in school, sometimes for a math class or a science project. Every time she had to compromise on her music and art classes, she made room in her schedule to self-taught herself but never let the idea of defeat take over. She would sketch buildings, chairs, and furniture, over and over with the hope to reach perfection.

Upon attending a spring show for architectural students, she knew she heard her calling - the desire to design innovative pieces and craft functional spaces took over

Full of dreams and passion, this young girl grew up to be a talented woman with a strong will ready to walk on a challenging path – Wesam Azar had a mission to make a name for herself as a successful interior architect. Stepping into a male dominant industry was never an easy decision but Wesam chose to live the dream she daydreamt for years. Starting from scratch and leaving a lasting impression on her own lead her on a path full of challenges and hurdles.

After five years of hard work, Wesam graduated with a degree in architecture and started working for local designers in her city. This gave her exposure to new ideas and skills, and finally, she could put the artist in her on a more practical path. Wesam's attention to detail and love of design lead her to work for kitchen companies, where she honed her skills in designing kitchens and learning about the process and materials along the way. With each project, her confidence grew stronger than ever and she kept adding impactful references to her portfolio. Leaving her mark was another challenge, Wesam knew that she had to stand apart. Her attention to detail helped her craft bespoke designs that were admirable. The commendable dedication to her dreams is a testament to many young girls and women trying to manage everything at once.

Wesam's dream and sheer dedication gave her the strength to make the impossible a reality - now she is working as a successful architect with a team of talented designers working under her wing.
